I've just joined this room too and i thought this was where we all introduce ourselves but i guess not hahaha. But I think it's a good idea to post here for introductions so here we go:

My name is Jonathan I'm 31 and i've been in Texas or Louisiana my whole life. The best religious/spiritual identification for me is Neopagan and now i am becoming Neoshaman lol. Norse Shamanism, Literature, Artifacts and all are pulling at my heart. At the same time I'm feeling more need for liturgy. i feel a developing sense of being lost. The ways of Norse shamanism itself also seem lost in mystery with Snorri Sturluson's Sagas as our best material of study. We are lucky someone was so inspired back then. I'd appreciate advice and it might be cool to see any posted advice be explored as topics here. I read something once about the Maitreya, the Word Teacher. It was said this term "word teacher" meant that the 2nd coming of mankind's savior would not be witnessed but He, She, It would create teachers from many people everywhere and none of them would know what hit them. I am saying this here because i do desire apprenticeship and today that might mean "to come together as a whole". We should all be seeking those who have questions. Both in the spiritual and the physical. So I take Karate classes of the style Shotokan Karate-do. "-do" at the end means "the way of". I study and put into right-action the laws, principles and history of Shotokan. I have wanted a Sensei or "teacher" in more religious ways but it's always been up to me to choose a path and in that I am dumbfounded. So i follow my heart in the mean time. If you look to teach please let us all know.
